Take this time to count your blessings

I know it's not right to worship material things so excuse me if I sound materialistic but things have so been going my way like all of my life.

I am a college graduate, I have a brand spanking new car, I was born and raised in one of the most beautiful cities, I live in one of the hottest cities to date, I am beautiful, healthy, loved. I have a job, I live in a beautiful four bedroom house, I have a large yet close and caring family, great friends, an ear for music, an eye for beauty and a heart for loving. I think those things are a blessing.

I went to church a couple of Sunday's ago with my father who was 40 minutes late. He had me standing in the lobby for 30 minutes in some brand new burgundy suede Nine West pumps that had no yet been broken into. SO my dogs were barking, my legs were tired and my patience had worn thin but Creflo did a great job of lifting my spirits. I learned a lot, mainly how to count your blessings, not your problems, pray till you can't pray anymore and live each day 24 hours at a time.

I would love to share some of Creflo's words with you. He is so inspirational and these things were honestly just what I needed to hear at that time. And after his words of encouragement, he said he done preached his self happy, lol.
  • "You don't know how he's going to do it or who he's going to use, just know it's going to happen." Because as you all know, if he brings you to it, he will bring you through it.
  • "Don't praise your job for the food on your plate and the clothes on your back, because it was God who gave you the job that gave you the paycheck that gave you the food and clothes."
  • "If you're hungry go find a bird. Later on, if you are down, think of the bird and know that you are better off than that bird."
  • "Once you share your portion, God will increase your portion. Your minimum effort will extend his maximum effort."
  • "Worrying is a sin because it shows your lack of trust in God."
  • "Don't worry about tomorrow. Rejoice for today because the rent is paid for today, you are eating food today, living life today! So how you doing today?"
