When It All Falls Down

Why do people get married?
Because they love each other and they found the person they want to spend the rest of their life with
Why do people get divorced?
Because they can't stand to be attached to that person another moment
Why is the divorce rate half of the marriage rate?
Why vow your love and life to someone who you doubt?
Because no one really changes over night... You saw these signs before but love had a haze over your eyes?
Or did you have your own hands over your own eyes?

Tunnel Vision

Last week a fellow journalist died in a car accident. A lot of people at my job knew him as a kid from SIUC who died in that terrible accident the other day but I actually knew that kid, Ryan Rendleman. This one friend of mine is in some deep shit. 1. He's in jail. 2. He's in jail because he was speeding on a stolen motorcycle. 3. His mother is a laywer and she is so pissed at him that she won't get him out. 4.5.6.7.8... 9. He is a pretty boy Kappa, which has turned him into a womanizer. But the number one reason why he is in some deep shit is because 10. He gave his main girlfriend the passcodes to his voicemail, email and facebook. Ok let me break down that last sentence. A side of Baby Mama, hold the drama

Just a few years ago, I would cringe at the term "baby mama," Today, I embrace it. It is what it is and I am who I am.  You have to live your life and roll with the punches. I never thought I'd be a baby mama. I'm more of the wife, fiance, girlfriend type. Or so I thought.
